ZexJobs is a mobile-first marketplace for hourly work across the United States. We only show you jobs within 100 miles of your home address, so every job you see is one you can actually get to.

How it works

1. Tell us where you are

We measure distance from your home address. Nothing beyond 100 miles is applyable.

2. Apply in one tap

No cover letters and no logins to remember. Your profile and resume go with the application.

3. Talk on WhatsApp

If an employer is interested they message you on WhatsApp. There is no separate inbox to check.

For employers

Post a job and it goes live immediately. Applications arrive in your dashboard, and you talk to candidates on WhatsApp. Verified employers carry a badge on every post.

SMS and messaging

By continuing you agree to receive a one-time passcode by SMS. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

We send an SMS only in direct response to you entering your own mobile number to sign up or log in. We do not send marketing messages, and we never import numbers from any list. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Opting out of SMS means you can no longer receive a login code.

What we collect

Your mobile number — to create your account and send login codes.
Your name — shown to employers you apply to.
Your home address — used to measure distance to jobs. Employers see the distance, not the address.
Your resume, if you upload one — shared with employers you apply to.
Your references — names and phone numbers you provide. Shown only to an employer you have applied to.
Your work authorisation status and driving licence answer — shown to employers you apply to.
Technical data — a hashed IP address and browser or device information, used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

Your phone number is not shared by default

An employer cannot see your phone number unless you and that employer have both chosen to share. Sharing is off by default and is decided per application.

Why we use it

To operate the service — matching you to jobs near you and delivering your applications.
To verify your identity by SMS.
To notify you about your applications, by WhatsApp, email or push, according to your settings.
To prevent fraud and abuse, and to enforce our terms.

Who we share it with

Employers you apply to, as described above.
Service providers who process data on our behalf: hosting and database (Supabase, Vercel), SMS verification (Twilio), messaging (Meta/WhatsApp), email (Resend), payments (Stripe), and maps and geocoding (Mapbox).
Where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Your choices

You can change what you share, and your notification settings, in the app under Settings.
You can delete your account in the app. Deleting removes your personal details and takes you out of search. We keep payment and credit records where we are required to.

Children

ZexJobs is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, where the change is significant, tell you in the app.

Using ZexJobs

You must be at least 18 and legally entitled to work where you are applying. One person or business may hold one account, tied to one verified mobile number.

We are a marketplace, not an employer

ZexJobs connects candidates and employers. We are not a party to any employment relationship, we do not employ candidates, and we do not guarantee that any job listing is accurate or that any application results in work. Verify who you are dealing with before starting work or sharing documents.

What you post

You are responsible for what you put on ZexJobs and it must be accurate. Employers must not post roles that discriminate unlawfully, and must not ask candidates for payment. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these terms; a suspension is always explained.

Credits and payment

Some actions use credits. Credits are not money, carry no cash value, and are not refundable except where the law requires. Prices are shown before you pay. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms.

Liability

ZexJobs is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or from any dealing with another user.
